Nine months ago we launched WoZEV ANZ at All Energy in Melbourne with a straightforward goal: build a professional community for women and gender-diverse people working in clean transport across Australia and New Zealand, and make sure those voices are visible across the industry - here's what we've done since then.
It's been a busy 10 months since we officially kicked off WoZEV at All Energy in October 2025!
We've held six events across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Auckland, run our first ANZ webinar on EV adoption trends, and grown the WoZEV+ Speakers Guide to 87 profiles. The guide is already being used by organisers at Everything Electric, the EV Infrastructure Summit, and others to find and book diverse speakers.
What's next: We're hosting a Sydney event in September (invites out soon), more events across ANZ later in the year, a second Speakers Guide intake in November, and we're developing a mentoring programme to connect emerging professionals with experienced leaders in the sector.
