As our region accelerates toward a zero-emissions future, WoZEV+ ensures that women and gender-diverse professionals are not just participants - but leaders - in this transformation. We represent a broad and growing community of experts working in electric vehicles, charging infrastructure, policy, investment, fleets, manufacturing, research, and adjacent industries.
WoZEV+ connects, amplifies, and empowers its members through events, professional development, visibility platforms, and targeted advocacy. Our flagship initiative - the WoZEV+ Speakers Guide - has already transformed industry engagement by making it easier than ever for conferences, media, and organisations to find and feature diverse voices. Since its launch, it has been used by major industry forums and continues to grow in both reach and impact.
Our mission is to accelerate the transition to a clean transport future by advancing gender equity and representation across Australia and New Zealand’s zero-emission vehicle sectors.
We do this by:
“The WoZEV network helps to ensure women that are passionate about sustainable transport feel supported and stay in the sector.
A diverse workforce is essential for addressing future skills and meeting the needs of a growing EV industry.”
Kirsten Corson, Chair
Drive Electric, New Zealand
“Women's participation in the electric vehicle industry is crucial for fostering diversity and inclusivity, bringing diverse perspectives and ideas to the forefront of innovation.
By actively involving women in this rapidly growing sector, we ensure a more balanced workforce that can address a broader range of consumer needs and preferences. “
